Client Centered Divorce Mediation A divorce that goes through the formal court process can seem very impersonal and harsh. You hire attorneys whose job it is to “win” at the cost of members of your own family. Decisions are left in the hands of a judge who does not know you personally. In fact, many divorce agreements that are developed through litigation need to be altered significantly down the road. AMS Mediation offers an alternative approach to the divorce process. Our client-centered divorce mediation services are personalized, fair, affordable and efficient, allowing you and your ex to have a say in the final decisions included in your divorce agreement.

Divorce Mediation Benefits

Our client-centered focus means that our staff works to meet your unique needs. Every divorce is unique, and every family dynamic is complex. Divorce mediation allows for nuance, specific needs and priorities and is not based on a win/lose proposition. Rather than increasing the overall conflict between the two parties, mediation allows for flexibility and compromise and very often yields an agreement that is much more successful in the long run than a litigated agreement. The ultimate goal of a mediated divorce is to find resolution that is best for all involved, including your children. AMS Mediation prioritizes the conservation of financial resources and developing a parenting plan that puts the needs of the children first.

Achieving a Fair and Less Stressful Divorce

When you are focused on the same goal – of achieving a fair and balanced divorce agreement that prioritizes the needs of your family, then you can achieve success and move forward with your life in a healthy way. AMS Mediation offers a wide variety of services to help your family navigate divorce including divorce mediation, divorce coaching, parenting time expeditor services, parenting consulting services, post-divorce grief support and more. Our team can help you determine what service will meet your needs so that you can begin right away. As part of our client-centered approach, we also offer all of our services in person and virtually. We have found that virtual meditation can lower the stress of the process, saving time and allowing you to complete the process in the comfort of your own home.

The court system is not set up to be focused on the experience of a client. However, when you work with a mediation firm like AMS Mediation, you can benefit from a personalized approach that can facilitate an outcome that is better for your family.
