If you do not yet know what mediated divorce is, and you are in the process of seeking a divorce from your spouse, AMS Mediation offers an alternative to the more familiar form of pursuing divorce through the court system that is—for most people—less expensive, more convenient, and likely to reduce the stress that so many people in the process of divorce experience. The laws of Minnesota are different from the laws of other states, and at AMS Mediation, we are experts in the field of divorce mediation.

Divorce Mediation Services

AMS Mediation of Burnsville, MN serves not only Burnsville, but other communities like Edina, Richfield, and many other towns and cities, and especially, the citizens of Minnesota. We offer a wide variety of services for couples in the process of divorcing, and we specialize in working with couples who know that it is best to get divorced, but who want to work together to resolve issues that require attention leading up to and following their divorce.

More couples than ever are seeking divorce mediation, in large part because the state of Minnesota requires couples to attempt an ADR process (alternative dispute resolution) before taking their case to court. AMS Mediation approaches a mediated divorce as a collaborative process. If you are experiencing an acrimonious end to your marriage, AMS Mediation can help you identify the causes of those feelings, deal with them better, and chart a course for a more amicable divorce from your spouse. By taking the position of collaboration, our team implicitly requests the divorcing couple to invest in creating the best possible solution, as opposed to simply indulging in the more immediately gratifying, but ultimately destructive, emotions that create the stereotypes so many of us have about divorce. This approach works very well with couples who have just a few issues to fix between them, but can also help couples with complex issues and high conflict, who believe that no one can help them.

Successfully Navigate The Divorce Process

AMS Mediation can help you achieve the best possible results for your divorce. By approaching matters with your spouse caringly and reasonably, AMS Mediation shows our commitment to helping you and your spouse come out of divorce in the best way possible. When children are involved, they will certainly be affected by your divorce. We address such issues with the same kind of perspective: when you are able to reduce your own negativity toward your spouse, which can be really hard work, you will be in a better position to help your children emerge from the divorce healthily too.

Divorce is hard. That is a simple fact. But with our help, you have a great chance of coming through the divorce with hope for the future and knowledge that you and your children are going to be okay. Call our team today at 952-252-1492 for more information.
