Virtual Divorce Mediation is IdealThere is no question that the trend to virtual meetings has offered many positives for all parties. The staff at AMS Mediation has successfully translated all of our mediation services from in person to virtual to best meet the needs of our clients. Virtual mediation services are more efficient, have less logistical challenges, can improve overall communication, minimize the stress involved, and ultimately result in a more positive and long-term outcome than a court battle. Virtual mediation is an effective way to resolve the terms of even a complicated divorce.

Benefits of Virtual Mediation

Divorce is difficult and there is nothing that can make it EASY. However, there are things that can be done that can make the process EASIER. It is important to acknowledge the difficulty, but equally important to find ways that minimize the stress of the process. Virtual mediation has taken an already successful process and made it even more flexible and accessible to our clients. Rather than worrying about scheduling at a time where the mediator and both parties can attend in person, virtual mediation allows you to join a mediation session from the comfort of your home, expanding the options for scheduling.

Virtual mediation services can help you resolve the terms of your divorce – including dividing joint property, developing a parenting plan (and/or custody agreement) and deciding whether or not spousal maintenance or child support is necessary. Your mediator does not make decisions about your case, but instead facilitates a focused, productive discussion where you decide what will work best for your family moving forward. Mediation is a cooperative approach that helps you find common ground even when there has been significant conflict. All you need is an internet connection and a device to participate.

Keys to a Less Stressful Divorce

Virtual mediation is ideal for couples who are busy, who do not want to have to be in the same room for this process, and who want to move forward with their life more quickly. Virtual mediation can help with settling the terms of your divorce, providing you with support as you learn to co-parent and even helping you cope with the loss of your marriage. Our virtual services include divorce mediation, divorce coaching, parenting consulting, parenting time expeditor services and early neutral evaluation.
